Which courier to use to send a mirror?

Given the fairly low price of £40ish I'd list it as BIN and sell it for collection only, it's a safer bet and as long as you don't live in the middle of nowhere, you might find a buyer before too long.

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
The courier makes no difference as the person asking is the buyer.kalsha said:
Was it sent by Evri or Royal mail? Would be interesting to know what happens. Please keep us updated.rose_sparky said:Not a mirror but I received a glass ornament today that arrived broken. Sorry for hijacking the thread.soolin said:
Assuming this is eBay you have definitely not lost your money. Just open a dialogue /case using the SNAD (not INR or a basic return). Explain item was broken on arrival and you would like a refund. You may be asked to return it at sellers cost , if they send a label just post it back very carefully wrapped in thick newspaper or something and boxed . Many sellers though will just refund on receipt of a photograph and not pay to have it returned.rose_sparky said:Not a mirror but I received a glass ornament today that arrived broken. If its being sent with Hermes / Evri, then its not chest height drops you want to test. You need to test by throwing it over a garden fence!martindow said:I suspect that you will be self insuring so it needs to be packed extremely well. Once packed you should feel confident that you could drop it from chest height onto a hard floor. I would send it in one box with bubblewrap around the mirror and then pack that in a larger box with packaging in between.1
