Which courier to use to send a mirror?

I have already listed a mirror on Ebay and listed courier as Evri.
I have just realised that it might be a restricted item with them. Can some confirm that for me please? Not sure whether it is restricted or just not that it can be compensated if anything goes wrong.
I can change the listing. What other option do I have? It will be about 3kg and would be medium parcel (per royal mail measurements).
Thank you.

Evri won’t Insure a mirror
https://www.evri.com/send/what-i-can-and-cannot-send- Glass items or fragile items that contain glass parts including kitchen appliances
You may have to check each courier individually.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. How much are you selling it for?
Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
Started auction at £40. They sell for £50-60. I think I will have to take it down and list it when I have done more research. I totally forgot that mirrors might not be allowed and listed in haste to complete my free 100 listings!0

I suspect that you will be self insuring so it needs to be packed extremely well. Once packed you should feel confident that you could drop it from chest height onto a hard floor. I would send it in one box with bubblewrap around the mirror and then pack that in a larger box with packaging in between. Some carriers will not accept glass at all, others will carry it if it is adequately packed but without any insurance being provided. You need to look at individual companies policies and if you use someone like parcel2go, their exclusions and also those of the carrier you choose from their options.0

Not a mirror but I received a glass ornament today that arrived broken. I’m waiting for a response from the seller but any idea what happens, have I lost my money?0

No courier will cover a mirror at regular prices, even if you pay for extra insurance. The risk of damage is too high. Better to sell it locally on FB marketplace and accept you might get a couple of pounds less for it, but none of the hassle that goes with a broken item.0
