Buying an Annuity young?

I've read online one can buy an annuity at any age (ie swap a lump sum for an annual salary for life). Does any one have their own experience of this and know where to buy one? I'm 37

One example of an annuity that pays out from any age is the national lottery's "Set for Life" game drawn every Monday. It pays £10,000 per month for 30 years.

Camelot don't just pay out the prize money regularly themselves - you have apply for an annuity from a broker and Camelot pay the cost of setting up the annuity.
