Just been having a catch up while I ate my tea.
Strange weather here today - one minute sunshine and really warm followed by torrential rain and really dark. The kids were fascinated this afternoon at how heavy it was- I put the lights off - 12 children listening to the rain in the dark!
DD gave me a lift to the doctors then I got soaked when I came out again walking across the bridge to catch the bus.
Doctor said I'm best carrying on as I am and trying to work part time. She's referring me to the long Covid chest clinic at the RVI, but we don't have a clinic in our area for the fatigue. Also need to have tests done on my heart. If I'm still feeling ill I'm to go back mid July - which seems like a long time away!
She was very sympathetic but says all I can do is take things easy and not push myself too much - she said she's seeing a lot of people with long covid and so much research is being done into it but unfortunately it's really not understood yet.
I feel better after talking to her.
Lovely sunshine here now so I'm going to sit outside and read for a little while, then I'll have a bath.
