There is an intermediate way - allow keychain to remember the straightforward ‘username and password only’ login details (as someone else has said they are available via settings of for some reason they don’t auto fill) but save the the ‘information scribbled on bits of paper’ on the same device, either by using the ‘notes’ app or by taking a photo of the bit of paper with the phone and saving it to an album called, for example, “useful stuff.”
So keep the “bits of paper” method, but have the bits of paper on the phone where they can’t be lost.

Neil49 said:I use Bitwarden all the time but in a basic way. In other words, if I can't remember the password I open it up and find out what it is.
It automatically syncs across all my android devices and Windows pc and best of all it is free.0 -
bitwarden - free but i pay 10 dollars a year to support it, and a couple extra bits.
ive just logged in to reply to this topic with 3 clicks, one - bitwarden shortcut in brower two - put my master password in for the bitwarden "vault" - 3 it knew i was on MSE forum so one click on (my username for forum) and boom auto filled - then i clicked log in and done.
you could be told her Bitwarden password in case of hiccups and it gives you a code for recovery just in case, keep these safe, but its quick, reliable, and doesnt store anything on the PC or device like "remember password" in the browser does, i use it on a smartphone too and thats even easier, just a thumbprint to log into bitwarden and click the password etc again.
it can be simple but also powerful, eg if you go to a new site, it will say "do you want a password for this site" and you can set which type of password eg how many characters you need, does it need a capital letter any numbers etc, most of mine are something silly like 20 characters or more long with all the special characters and numbers, and ive never had to remember a single one - eg it could be AFRpFR@LWW3BBuG - crazy strong, in fact a password checker says it would take 10000 years to crack lol, and i just remember the master one for the vault.

If you have an Android phone and use Chrome browser then you really don't need to use anything else.0

Had a quick Google and it has come back with this one which has 4.9 starts - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/keeper-password-manager/id287170072 not sure if it is any good though0
