Just a quick update. Got a letter from debt collectors so I called them I told them that I refuse to pay even though the total amount has increased now by another £200. Apparently they have to send me 3 letters and then it will go to court so its a bit of a long waiting game.

Chased up my MP and apparently he did not get any response back but is going to talk to the Management company again to see what he can do (not sure if this is actually going anywhere).

Also found a neighbour in a similar situation as me as she has racked up a few tickets but she doesn't actually own a parking bay. So she has been parking near the front entrance to the building to offload the shopping/kids and seems to have been a victim. However she is apparently using a company called contester legal and she pays them £75 for the first ticket and £50 for the rest, so they will fight the case and re-imburse her back. Seems a bit strange to me.

That legal firm features an ex employee of a parking roboclaim firm, I think. There is no need to pay anyone!

No-one here says to ever phone a DRA.It is extremely clear in the NEWBIES thread NEVER to phone a debt collector re a parking charge. Don't make that mistake again but if you didn't hide your number, you have now opened yourself up to harassment by text and calls.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Damn! I read the thread but missed that part. Haven't got any calls or texts yet so hope it doesn't start.

Got a letter back from the MP today and he spoke to the managing company but they completely lied to him so he asked me to seek legal advice if I have evidence to back up my claim. They basically said that the allocated parking spaces do not form part of the individual properties which is a lie because the property register mentions "The leasehold land demised by the lease referred to below which lies within the area shown edged with red on the plan". The Parking bay and flat are marked in red.

Furthermore they mentioned the freeholder who owns the land instructed for parking control to be put in place. I was then notified in 2018 and apparently they sent me a permit which I did not display. Again a lie because they sent me a letter without any permit and started ticketing me.

I guess the Management Company and Link Parking are working together in this scam side by side.

I would email the Managing Agent your evidence that the bay is demised to you, demand to know why they misled your MP about that and the non-existent permit, and ask what are they going to do about this derogation from grant?

Copy in your MP again. And the parking firm, so they can see your evidence and back off.

Finish by saying (if you still live there) that they must cancel all charges, cease and desist immediately and remove your demised bay from the illegal enforcement.
