Redundancy and tupe

Options
I work for a company who does work for the 2 seperate councils, 1 of the council contracts has been up for tender and we didn't win it so we are being tupe transferred to another company, but with reduced hours and they are making us redundant from the other council work.

The bit that doesn't seem clear is the redundancy payment they have said covers only 10 hours per week and that's how they calculated my redundancy for the last 12 years, it should be more like 25 hours per week and the tupe transfer would be only 10 hours per week but i have only ever received 1 salary not 2 for the seperate council contracts.

Is this normal for this to happen should we accept the redundancy and do the tupe transfer with less hours and less money or should we look into this there is 2 of us this is happening too.
