  • It points to a different car park when I google SIP Car Parks(1) Ltd. On company house, there are 2 different titled companies run by same people under 1 address?

Yes and that's part of your complaint.

Could you please show us a redacted (your ID covered) pic of the letter from SIP?  I'd like to use it as an example for the DLUHC if you don't mind.

I think they are conflating two quite different companies - although both under the same ownership - for whatever reason.

The VAT number on the PDT ticket relates to SIP Car Parks (1) Limited (08456205), whereas the LBC is from SIP Parking Limited (06752126).

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Is that legal? If not, should I include this in the letter?

If your contract to park is with one company, then a different company pursuing you to court is not normal, they are a potential stranger to the original contract.  But much depends on what the signage says as to whom you were actually contracting with.

You need some photos of the detail on the signs in the car park.

But that company number is not that of 'Simple Intelligent Parking Limited'. See this:

    https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/08077105

Company number 6752126 is that of:

If they issue a claim, these are some of the main issues around which to frame your Defence.
