Any 'anticipated news' has already affected the current exchange rate in the market, it's only the unexpected that will affect it as time passes.The mid-market rate at this moment is 1.1925 - are you intending to exchange cash if you're only getting 1.18..?Evolution, not revolution0

Most places now taking card payments as routine according to returning holidaymakers - just take a small amount with you and settle up with a "user friendly" credit or debit card.
