Three PAYG SIMS via Amazon
After 10 yrs Three have finally got around to kicking me off my Unlimited 1 month SIM only plan and are forcing me to move. I always enjoyed the inclusive roaming in EU and USA but seems like most of the big names they are all charge £2 p/day EU and £5 p/day USA if I start a new contract. But their PAYG SIMs offer inclusive roaming still:
"If you’re on Pay As You Go, or your Pay Monthly plan started before 1 October 2021, these charges won’t apply."
It looks like you can get quite a discount by buying the PAYG data packs from Amazon e.g. 50Gb is £15.91 vs £20 if you buy via Three direct. Its says you can enable auto-renew but does anyone know if that is at the original reduced amazon price or goes back to Three RRP price after the first month? If its only the first month then a saving of £4.09 is probably not worth it reading some of the issues people have had getting the data pack registered. But £4 cheaper a month would be worth it.

I've had notification they are kicking me off today, likewise I've been on the plan for around 10 years. They really are trying to shift people off legacy contracts to avoid the roaming charges which weren't meant to change for existing customers. Pathetic!0

How did you find the signal and speeds on Three?0

If you're happy with the signal you get with Three then you could try Smarty. They use the Three network (they're owned by Three) and are currently offering 60Gb for £10/month with no contract.P1Fanatic said:After 10 yrs Three have finally got around to kicking me off my Unlimited 1 month SIM only plan and are forcing me to move. Yep but honestly I dont think they are the only ones doing it. Annoyingly you get 30 days to decide otherwise they move me onto a new monthly unlimited contract for £26pm vs £15 I pay now or £18pm if I got to a 12mth contract. However if I follow the renewal link it only shows 30Gb data. I need to call them up to discuss options but PAYG seems the only option for me to avoid US roaming changes but they will probably change that in due course which will be even easier for them to implement as no contract as such.robrymond said:I've had notification they are kicking me off today, likewise I've been on the plan for around 10 years.
