I got two letters today inviting me to renew my rewards from 31 May on my two Halifax Reward accounts. When I went to the Halifax website to do this, the system asks me to choose which of the accounts I want to earn rewards on. You can only choose one account. Looks like Halifax have decided to put a block on earning a reward on more than one account.

No - you just do it for each RA you have. After you've done the first one go to track my rewards and select the next etc. If you have several RAs you need to do it several times.3 -

You know where 'track my rewards' is, under current ac options?1 -
Can I check, if you have more than one reward account, can you have a different reward on each one, or does it have to be the same reward across them all? Ie can I have cinema tickets on one and £5 on the other?0
-
Yes, you can have different ones. However, for tickets it's worth having Lloyds Club as well, especially as it comes with two good regular savers.

Those MSEers with 2 or 3 reward accounts, is there a knack to opening them? I'm seemingly welcomed with open arms for current accounts across various banking groups, but was outright declined when I applied for a 2nd Reward account in the app. Bouncing money through accounts and making a couple of debit card payments for a reward is easy money, and I'd more than happily accept an extra tenner a month from Halifax for some new standing orders and a few seconds work with some debit cards.0

Don't know if this made any difference, but my second Reward was an upgrade from their normal account.
