temporary broadband (3 week delay until installation)

Hi all,
I'm with Virgin, and am moving house. We only found we are moving house tomorrow, and am half way through a Virgin contract so need to port their services.
The next date an engineer can do the installation is in 3 weeks (not much good for homeworking!).
What are the best options to tide us over? I'm thinking a dongle perhaps, and then hotspot off that? Or up my virgin mobile contract to unlimited and hotspot from that. Not so good for streaming Netflix though!
Are there any good suggestions that I've missed?
TIA

Dongle/hotspot should work for netflix, presuming the signal is ok. i use 4g internet for everything due to rural location and pants adsl speed/no fibre. Drains your phone battery quickly but 3 weeks should be doable I guess. if it's longer, then a 30 day unlimited sim, such as Lebara might be worth looking at0

Re mobile broadband, as @flashg67 says, it's down to how good the mobile signal is at your new gaff. May need to check out more than one network.
I've lived with a phone hotspot as the only internet connection for a month, was OK and even managed to stream the odd movie (with some buffering, just like ye olden days). The phone was not happy afterwards, new battery required.0 -
Have you checked if there are any available at your new address?

I get free BT Wifi & there is a hot spot available near my house that I use in emergencies.
