Today I am grateful for being up in time to stop the heating kicking in for a measly 0.2 degrees, for dc enjoying bouldering and for finding some climbing shoes in d3cathl0n afterwards, for a neighbour mowing the front (back is still going strong for no mow May), for getting 3% of a task done ahead of schedule (though it may be less as I'm locked out of where I need to input the data...), for free library books, for space to breathe.

Felt very nauseous first thing, & again after dinner, hope I'm not getting the bug that's doing the rounds at school! Had a good day at work, more giggles with pupil I'm helping with speech. Was on playground duty twice, so logged lots of steps on my new apps 😃 a customer stopped to collect her altered dress, then I had a nap. Felt so much better afterwards. Received a phonecall from a new customer I'd been recommended to & 2 messages from others requesting my sewing skills. Shortened 3 pairs of jeans after tea.
Grateful for another 2 eboy sales, a good nap & more customersUse it up, wear it out

Hi all, after a lovely burst the bank day yesterday, I shall be straight back on budget. So grateful for a day visiting ds2 in uni town with ds1, we did the whole walk of the town which includes a cathedral on a hill and a university on a quay, so tired and proud. It was his first visit since medical problems started last summer and last chance before ds2 comes home next weekend. Time to fill the freezer w chicken again!
Proud of ds2 looking to complete first year, of ds1 to complete his first 10 months of rehab and still hanging in there (now with job) and for me to be showing some of my creative work, curtesy of lovely friends inother country.
Hugs to those who need it and @mothernerd hope your pip prep goes well.

NSD Yesterday. That's no 15 and all I'll manage this month as we're out shortly to buy the baby present, cards, etc.
Defrosted both freezers which are still quite full (actually very full) so I've made a meal plan up to next Saturday and if all goes according to plan I should only have to buy salad leaves, a cucumber and a couple of potatoes for baking. Had loads of carrots in the fridge so we're having HM lentil soup tonight.
I've done not too badly on the money front this month. Started off really well with the decluttering and house stuff but that kind of fell away mid month. Failed miserably with weight loss. Must try harder next month.
Thanks for running the challenge, Mothernerd
Take care, everyone. See you in June. xxx

I have no idea how many of anything I did this month because I used cash , and barely touched my cardThere is hardly anything on the credit card, it has all been paid off but there seems to be an awful lot of money left over.I suppose eating a lot of salad is cheap though.See you all in June.Thank you for everything @mothernerd4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

hi all
Been spendy today, had a £6 clubcard voucher that runs out so bought a few stock items, also some YS ciabatta rolls.
Had a good day wfh. After work DD1 called round and we visited our friend who is dog sitting. Had a walk round their village. Collected a small bookcase for free on Fb, needs a bit of upcycling but is a nice solid piece. Also got a free bottle of unopened salad dressing from Fb!
Gratitudes - free goodies; 15 mins with my book; my friend admiring my £3 Laura A skirt from the CS
