NSD No 14 yesterday . I’m doing better than I thought I would this month. Not doing so well with everything else though. Feeling a bit ropey this morning so having a little bit of a lie in.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
Hope you feel better soon @Toni'sfriendI can't believe how quickly May has (almost) gone!I think I am up to 14 NSDs though OH has spent on one or two of those days - mostly necessary stuff such as an emergency dentist's appointment and new glasses, which have made for a very expensive month, and I have a dental hygienist's appointment booked for the 31st just to round things offI have also bought clothes this month - when the warmer weather arrived I realised that I had just one respectable T shirt, and one of my (two) pairs of jeans was starting to resemble those trendy ones favoured by the much- younger- than- me brigade, with rips all up the legs
So I bought a new pair of jeans and 3 T shirts, just ordinary high street ones, not posh brands.
I have however stayed within my grocery budget, so that is something!

Evening Turtles. Just a small spend on ice creams whilst visiting a local seaside town. Couldn’t walk far as OH has a man cold and I had to drive as he was too weak and felt dizzy.
Someone in the office had a cold and as OH has no immune system after working from home and barely leaving the house for 2 years he caught it. I am very good at not being ill so I am not expecting to succumb.
Finally got round to repotting my tomato plants and will do the runner beans tomorrow as they have taken over my shed like triffids.
Today I am grateful for a trip out, managing to avoid the chaos heading to the port and seeing our robin on the bird feeder.4 -
Today I am grateful for the tram driver waiting for me and waving me on thus giving me a free journey, for giraffe mane felt finding, for dc moving up a level with their bouldering, for neighbours being quiet, for plenty of fresh air.

Had a good day, though I'm very achy now! Walked 4.5 mike's with DH this morning, some showers but carried on anyway. Spent the afternoon weeding the raised raspberry bed (it's quite big!), then a border in the front garden. Sold 17 of DS3's books on local selling page, so he's happy!
Washed the dishes, then did lots of crocheting & watched the latest Tom Cruise film.
Grateful for tidier bits in the garden, my blanket is growing longer, a good film
Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

After an extra couple of hours in bed yesterday I had quite a productive day. Got all the washing done, dried outside and anything that doesn't need ironing has been put away. Made a Greek salad for lunch and dinner comprising of some very spicy sausages, fresh and sun dried tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, white wine and harissa all of which we had. It was lovely and more left for tomorrow.
It wasn't an NSD though. I need a birthday present for a little boy next month and I saw something perfect so I've ordered it.
Looking like it's going to be nice here so I'll think I might plant up some more containers with the seeds that I have.
Have a good day.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6
