Dear Guildways,
Sad to see yet more companies jumping on the bandwagon of the lucrative parking industry to grab a share of the extortionate pie.
Stop sending me template drivel, pretending it actually comes from a solicitor when it's just tedious newcomer 'i-debt Collection' using a different name.
I won't be contacting anyone. It is crystal clear that Guildways are not 'instructed by Initial Parking' to do anything at all, so get lost.regards,PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would send that letter by Coupon-mad above.
Treat idiots as idiots
Pretending to be someone in authority is just what WONGA did and they went bust ?
The letter from Guildways is highly flawed
THE BEAVIS CASE:
Let's get this right ..... the Supreme court ruled that the ticket priced at £85 was ro cover the operation of the scheme . No fake add-ons like £70. (£85 is not a typo, it was the ATA who increased it to £100 )
THE BPA
Guildways seem to think that the BPA is some sort of an authority ?
In reality, the BPA are a nasty cheap members club who invented the fake £70 add-on designed to scam people out of more money
In your case, the ticket price from the PPC is £100 and it is Guildways who have added the fake £70 to which they have no legal authority
Just another debt collector trying to jump on the money wagon and oven ready to be zapped by a court. Of course a debt collector as such is powerless to take you to court. The solicitor involved could do but ... risk a judge spanking them for rubbish

The extra £70 has come from the previous debt collection letters as they added that on to cover their costs!0

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The so called costs are down to the PPC and ....... what costs ..... these bods offer a no win no fee service
It's all cloud dreaming stuff and if they look up, they might see some pigs flying around

They have never changed the cost even after the POPLA appeal but instead added on additional fees. I’m just worried this might all affect me getting a mortgage.0

Can’t find the first letter from these guys but this is the last one I had in July0

Just remember that clowns come from a circus and dress themselves up to look ridiculous
Seems the circus is in a town near you

NO IT WILL NOT.
This needs to firstly go to court. If you lost which is doubtful, you will be given a couple of weeks to pay and if you fail to pay, you will get a CCJ and that will go on your credit rating.
Despite all their bluster and rubbish, a debt collector cannot do anything. Their job is simply to scare you into paying and it really is JUNK MAIL

ok thanks @patient_dream.
so the advice is to just ignore Guildways letter then as well?0 -
As already advised. My reply showed you what it really is.
Nothing will affect your mortgage unless you ignore a small claim, don't defend, or move house without telling the PPC and later find a claim went undefended at the old address.
There are/were no costs incurred for sending DRA letters.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
