VOXI dropping EU roaming, anywhere better to go?
Been quite happy with Voxi to be honest, paying £10/m for 15GB, but just got a message that they're going to be charging for european roaming from 27 May.
Of course I could just suck up the £2/day but I'm likely to do a fair bit of travel and this is MSE, so any ideas who's doing similar that includes roaming still? (bonus points if any include USA/Africa or wider at this price point...)

Yeah, deals seem to have dried up but I have another contract with them already, may nudge them to match that for a second one if the below doesn't work out.alanjones60 said:Three,no £2 a day charge . But only pay as you go
That's interesting - I'd discounted them as they seem to have removed (inclusive) roaming on contract deals, seems odd they'd leave it on PAYG only but that does indeed seem the case, & they cover USA too which is great.I dropped them when I moved house a few years ago due to poor indoor signal, but assume they have either sorted out or have wifi calling by now; will order a PAYG sim to test!0 -
Yes wifi calling on my payg sim works great, and has done ever since i joined three in 20171

@alanjones60 did anyone verify that the 3 Data Reward SIM used Go Roam rates when abroad? Seem to remember a thread about it.0

My payg sim is the data reward sim. It still has the 3p a min 2p a text and 1p per mb rates, although they said it wud change it never did. it did use go roam rates as well1

I've been looking into this too.
I have Virgin at home and although it's only 100Mb now, a free boost back to 200Mb could be nice. Wonder if I could push them to the next tier.
The ONLY problem I have with their contracts are the annual price rises. No thanks. I generally stay on 30-day deals for over 2 years but the psychology of being trapped in one puts me off.
That's why Smarty seem to be one of the winners, but potentially dodgy signal0 -
