Given the predictions for January and April and the fact it doesn't have an exit charge it seems a no-brainer.
How did you manage to get them to defer the start date until 2/10/22 ? I did a fix with them a couple of weeks ago but the new rate started immediately.

Did you get a deferred start date of 2/10/2022 like Leew89 ?

Suppliers will usually do a deferred start date if you are on a fixed tariff with them. Many will let you finish the existing tariff if it is within the 45 day period or near to it.
If you are currently on a SVT you need to get lucky to get them to agree to defer the start. Even if they do it for somebody else, it does not mean they have to do it for you also.0 -
I’m a Customer with UW and a partner, Cant fault them, if you were to join, doing it through a partner is recommended as you then have a direct point of contact to help you switch services and answer any questions you have , they can update you when services go lives etc , Switching broadband and Mobile is quick and completely pain free, energy switches in 2 days so super quick too! my favourite part is our cashback card, everytime you spend on it, a percentage of every spend (1% - 10%) comes right off your bill, i personally average around £30-£40 cashback a month off my bills, its great!Carooky said:Hi All, I have been offered the bargain of the year...not !
Outfox the Market - My current dual fuel monthly payment is £138 p/m on Super Fix'd 12m Aug21 v2.
They have offered - Fix'd X 22 7.0 - £527.76 p/m
I'm no mathematician but I recon that's at least a 280% RISE eeeeeeek !!!
I think I'll need to look for a terrible deal elsewhere.
Utility Warehouse has a decent offer but don't think it's worth the hassle of signing up to a different broadband and mobile deal at the same time.
HELP !!!

I'm currently on a fix that doesn't run out until October so this doesn't come into effect until then.pinky1978 said:Leew89 said:I've taken the EON Next Online v19 (12 month fix), effective from 02/10/22.

Definitely. Especially if the predictions for the start of next year are accurate.Metalingus84 said:

Currently on 19.45p/kWh 19.92/Day (which equates to around £1200pa) from last October and have just received the renewal letter. Unhelpfully it doesn't give rates. Only two options:
1. Move to SVR with projected 12 month costs being £2,240.47
2. Fix for 1 year, no exit fees projected 12 month cost £4,650.90 (1 Year Smooth Renew v20)
Current deal runs out on 5th Oct. The above figures were using actual usage from last 12 months of 7,519 kWh
What option would you do?0 -
I think I'd stick to the SVR personally and hope the government step in with something. I've just moved to Octopus but I have an EV so going on that fixed tariff. May be worth ringing them and seeing what their fixed rate is if they have one.Chef1980uk said:Currently on 19.45p/kWh 19.92/Day (which equates to around £1200pa) from last October and have just received the renewal letter. Very high, if they're even offering to new customers (existing customer fix is almost 70p!).hollie.weimeraner said:

The only possibilities worth exploring are EV tariffs, Agile (half-hour pricing, capped 55p) or Tracker (daily pricing, capped 55p elec).0 -
Here is the cost based on latest CI predictionsChef1980uk said:Currently on 19.45p/kWh 19.92/Day (which equates to around £1200pa) from last October and have just received the renewal letter. Unhelpfully it doesn't give rates. Only two options:
