Flight Cancel Alternative

Ryanair has just cancelled my flight in December. Im not interested in compensation, i just need to go when i had booked. Im sure i read somewhere that the airline has to put me on an alternative flight if they no lomnger do the route.. Is this correct and if so can anybody help me find the article? TIA

Yes you are correct when a flight ( from EU/U.K.) is cancelled you have a choice of either a refund or an alternative flight to your destination. The article is here Section 3 )

Do you know, if nobody flys on the route i want, if i change the uk airport do Ryanair still have to sort it? The date is more important to me than uk airport
