I would still send a polite message to the CEO with the Morrison's link to the new store saying you will be shopping there from now on since Sainsbugs obviously do not want you back as a customer.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Did you seize the moment to complain in person to the Store Manager to see if the store does have an easy way to cancel PCNs? Never mind what Head Office said.
When complaining in person, don't complicate it by talking about 'free parent & child bays' because the bay used had nothing to do with it. Your wife was there within the free period for shoppers and simply got caught out by Sainsburys introducing (or re-introducing out of the blue) a requirement to input number-plates, without drawing that prominently to the attention of shoppers. The scheme can only have been pulled due to massive complaints and the Store Manager must know all about that(!) and whether he/she can simply cancel this for your family.PRIVATE 'PCN'? So I phoned the store in the end after the 'final demmand' letter (final count down music)
They agreed to try and cancel it.
Have been cc after I asked them to from the managers account of Sainsburys Oswestry.
Will follow up.
Also can I check against the number to see it cancelled?
Just checked the number on the website against reg. Closed.
Winner thanks for everyones help.
Also may have helped with the fact people have been complaining that they removed the reg problem.
