HI ALL, JUST NOTICED MY FIXED RATE TARIFF WITH E. D. F. HAS HAD THE KWH CHARGES AND THE STANDING CHARGE INCREASED MID TERM, THIS HAS BEEN DONE WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYBODY ELSE.

What do you consider mid term. Do you mean you had a fixed contract and they have changed the prices on you?

If you can provide more details that will help.

What is the name of your tariff?

Are you still paying by the same method? Switching from DD to cash/cheque can increase the cost.

My bet is they haven't increased the charges mid-term, unless the payment method was changed. Do please provide more info. though.

I'm not aware of ANY instance of this truly having happened being reported here recently.

Another way it may have legitimately changed is if you moved house and were allowed to take the tariff with you?

What are you basing your conclusion there has been a change on? If you could share a picture but with your personal details blocked out (including meter IDs) this would probably be helpful to the discussion.

Hi all, no i have not moved house ,also it is not with or without vat. I am basing my conclusion on my old bill, the kwh charge for gas and elec  and the standing day charge are lower on my bill than what is being quoted in my tariff section in my account, when i check my tariff charges my bill says Gas 2.769 kwh my tariff charge says 2.908, elec says on bill 15.87 tariff says16.67 standing charge for Gas 24.83 on bill tariff says 26.08 Elec bill says standing charge 25.23 tariff says 26.50 Not a massive increase i know but if this is happening on all there fixed rate customers then thats a lot of money especially when people wont notice and nothing from E D F  about it.  hope this helps.
