I have been paying off capital one and am down from £1200 to £300-ish, the card was cut up long long ago.

Today i got a new card in the post, and it's a week til christmas.

    Somebody stop me please!

I haven't done anything with it yet, except look at it.

All you are talking about is a back pocket credit limit. I have about £100,000 worth of credit available. I just keep the cards in a safe but use them to my advantage but I am alot stronger than your goodself.

  • It felt ace! And i had 2 NSD days this weekend so feeling as smug as smug can be! I know if i hadn't cut it up i would've been out doing some essential Xmas shopping!

Well done you on ditching the DC.... you've got more will power than me if you can still have the card but refrain from using it. i need very drastic measures personally.

I've done it before and I've put it somewhere I very rarely go so I wont even be looking at it. I would cut it up, but as it's a debit card I didn't think that was the best idea.
