Maz - if you cut yours up I will hide the debit card for my second account. I used it far to much for christmas shopping and it's now like carrying a tie bomb as I know the pin number!!!!!!!!!!
It's not safe to be carried on me.Current debt - £16,300
Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
i think January will be a tough month for everyone around here, not only do people get into more debt but there are things like 5-6 weeks until the next pay day.
I am due a payrise at end of January, so that'll help immensely..... I shall not get into more debt, i shall not get into more debt, i shall not get into more debt........ repeat to fade......I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

I was dreading that 5-6 week and then this week we found out that my ex won't be paying any maintenance so that leaves me in effect £400 down on usual monthly money and that gap!
Did I mention its my birthday in January too that should slip away not noticed - I wish companies would not pay wages early it really does not help!0 -
Have you given the card 'the snip' yet, Maz?
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
