No refund for an Operational Flight? (London to Belfast easyJet)

I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and have been given a doctors letter to cancel planned travel for the next 6 weeks due to a recent trip to A&E.
EasyJet have replied saying they agree I’m entitled to a refund in these circumstances but have suggested due to it being an Operational Flight, can only provide me with a letter allowing me to claim back £30 of government tax or have directed me to a link on how to change the flights!

Is this acceptable, clearly I don’t want to rebook in the event I’d have to cancel again and have questioned the respondent on why they can’t refund or offer a credit, as I don’t want to be pressured into rebooking until I get the all clear from my doctor / the hospital.

Claim on your travel insurance, this is what it's for1

Easyjet and Ryanair tickets are generally sold on the basis that they are non-refundable and the fact that you are unable to travel due to health is not a ground to change those rules. Do you have travel insurance as with a doctor's letter you might be able to claim a refund, less an excess, from that? Otherwise, the usual rules will apply which are just a refund of UK tax0
