Howdy !

I hope that someone can help with the above .
I have been a Vodafone customer for many many years . I have sim only phone , and have their broadband .
However , last month when we had the storms I was without internet for over a week . These things happen .
I was given texts and whilst liaising on the phone to them at various times , I was promised a refund of over £80!
No problem ,and internet fixed .
Please bear in mind , that my bill is paid monthly DD on 29th of each month .

I had 7-8 days without internet last week . Spoke to various tech people using the reference no given .
They eventually sent out openreach to sort out and now things are working fine for the moment .🤞
I don't expect to be compensated for that time and was expecting no bills for a couple of months. However...

I received text last week for my usual DD payment ! This is obviously not right ! Where is the £80+ compensation payment ?!?
So I got onto the accounts person . He didn't seem to know anything about it . So he said " Alright £70" I politely pointed out to him I was quoted over £80.  "£100" He said . Fair enough ..
Looking on the app just now , it says I have about £12 usage .

So, first of all I I didn't contact Vodafone I would have been ripped off and my " loyalty" is laughable to them ( yes I know nobody cares about loyalty really )
Plus, Can somebody tell me ...How Can I Actually Get Compensated ?? A payment to my bank or a cheque would be transparent and not puttinng me in a situation to look for an alternative provider .

Pleaee can someone advise

Thanks in advance ..

Looking at the billing " future bill £35.52"
Trying to look for the right dept to send email to , rather than be fobbed off again and lied to on the phone

**edited to say that the green tick  next to bill indicates that I haven't paid anything this month after all ( due 29th)
Having said that , I will check may 20th to see if the same thing has happened . If so, then that means that the same will happen on June statement and all Is ok .**

If not ,then I'll complain again .

Will update if anyone's interested may 20th ..
