Creation did not credit a transfer of £1,000 made into their account

On the 13 of April I made a transfer of £1,000 to cover my Credit Card debt, it's a card I don't use on a daily basis so today I was surprised to discover a monthly email saying I owe them £1,004.86 - they charged me £4.86 of interest for that £1,000 cash payment.

But I did transfer them on the 13th of April already
£1,000 with my credit card number as reference, I did it already many times before, but this is the first time they haven't credited this transfer.

It's weekend now so I can't reach out to them, but I did send them a message already.

Can I ask if such thing is normal? And what's the best thing to do at this point? Transfer another
£1,000 to cover the debt until they will get to credit me?

What was the payment due date?
    What transfer method was used?
Was the transfer from a proper bank or second-tier, eg building society?

Payment due date was end of April but I never look at that, I sent 1000 GBP using TransferWise and charged my Creation card for it.

It was fast bank transfer from Metrobank, the reference of the credit card number is properly there and I can see it in the online statement as well.

Any suggestions what to do from here? Simply phone Creation tomorrow and ask them to double check why this wasn't credited? Are they suppose to refund the interest fees they charged me as well from the 13th of April ?

Should I still nonetheless pay another 1000 GBP just for the sake of my piece of mind and then take it out once it's credited?

So, the due date is not yet arrived?

I'm not sure that's relevant. It's been 11 days, it should have cleared by now.  Their concern seems to be that they're accruing interest on a cash transaction despite having already paid it off. Either it hasn't cleared or they're not looking at their account properly (i.e. the statement isn't reflecting the payment but their recent transactions is).

If they are reading it properly they'll need to call Creation to ask about that, I don't know what else they are expecting to hear! Though I'm more curious why on earth you'd use a credit card on TransferWise instead of sending them the money directly by faster payment. What a waste of fees!

The reason I queried the due date was, if confirmed that the due date has not arrived, it is worth the OP making an additional payment of at least minimum payment to ensure they avoid a default being registered.

Creation request that bank transfers are made 5 working days before the due payment date. Allowing for non working days this appears extremely tight.

Was it a previously saved 'credit card number' or did you manually input it? Have you double/triple checked you've got the right number?

It was already saved, i.e. I've used this option before many times.

Just to let you know, I've made another transfer of £1,005 from Barclays yesterday (Sunday - 24/04) - it is already showing in my Creation account and it covered the debt that was showing there.

I will definitely phone them today to ask about the missing transfer from Metrobank for
    £1,000...

It's the same fees for bank transfer and/or credit card, no different from TransferWise's end.
