Cake looks delicious, do tell us how you all get on.

I'm with you on the glands, not something I'd want to be doing either.

Spends are good and I'm sure the snacks were plentiful.

Our dog has to have her glands done regularly too but thankfully the vet nurses do it free as part of her health plan

Do you ever do a 'fakeaway', cook takeaway style at home, for a fraction of the price? We can provide ideas if you say what kind of food you like, all helps saves the pennies.

Take yourself off to a quiet place, close your eyes and imagine you're somewhere you've previously been which made you feel happy / good. Stay in that place for 30 minutes and it will help your body relax a bit. Don't overdo it at the wedding, stay sitting down as much as you can and slip away for a breather / relax when needed, the B&G will understand and appreciate you've attended.
    - pack the ones which allow you to fix a smile.

Hey, yes we have done fake aways a lot in the past especially during lock down, we really need to get back in the habit.. But iv been that exhausted lately iv struggled to cook things that take more than half hour.
Survived the wedding OK, was a lovely day and I took myself to bed at 10pm was so thankful we had a room there 😊

My OH makes pizza. The pizza mix is made (5 mins) and left overnight, quickly rolled / flattened (couple of mins), added to a frying pan on the hob, adds tomato sauce base with mozzarella slices stuck on the top. Under 5 mins on the hob, slip the pan under the grill for a couple of mins to finish the top off.

Breaking food down between some prep done the day before, with the remainder the next day makes a huge difference. Even doing a huge pot of something and freezing portions to heat up makes it easier to cope with energy levels.

I can ask my OH for some of the places he gets the recipes from, if you want to try things mentioned in my diary. I'm more of a slice, sit down, throw in pot, sit down kinda gal.

You're sounding upbeat, hope you've rested today too.
