Parkmaven/ Premeir Inn Haywards Heath

Hi All,
Looking for advice please...
The driver stayed at Premier Inn Haywards Heath while running the Brighton Marathon on April 10th. The Hotel offers parking at £8 per day payable on exiting the Car Park, this is managed by Yourparkingspace.
The driver unfortunately lost their bank card while running the marathon and was unable to pay for the parking on exiting. When queried with the hotel they advised to contact Yourparkingspace to explain and pay for parking in retrospect.
The Driver contacted Yourparkingspace the next day, they where unable even to locate the car park on their systems and were unable to allow the driver to pay for the parking and advised the driver to appeal any PCN with the issuing authority, (Driver has whatsapp conversation screen shots saved.)
Parkhaven have issued a £60 parking charge notice to the keeper for breaching terms and conditions.
My question is how to proceed? Something tells me the hotel would be a waste of time, but is it worth appealing to the issuing authority? Want to follow the advice not to ignore, but unsure of how best to proceed.
Thanks in advance

The keeper should send the blue text template appeal easily found in that opening post on the NEWBIES thread.1 -
As Keith says above.
This is the time for CEO of PREMIER iNN to take action and get this cancelled.
£8 to park your car on top of their room rates is taking the mickey
Premier Inn advertise on TV that you have to book direct as they are not on any comparison site ...... you can understand why ??
Whenever I book a hotel, I always phone them and ask if there are Riff Raff operating in the car park ?
If YES ... I cancel the booking telling them why.because there are plenty of hotels who have not been sucked in by the parking scam.
I had to laugh ..... Haywards Heath, the home of the BPA ???
Straight to the CEO of Premier Inn to see if he values your business.
If not, stay well clear of Premier Inn and tell your friends
