9 Day Old Leather Sofa Opinions Please

I believe this is called puddling or pooling and is common with most leather seating.....eventually.   Apparently you are supposed to do the "breast stroke" with your hands over the seats daily! Not sure what u are supposed to do for the backs.  Google will no doubt have some helpful ideas.

I certainly wouldn't be happy with that after only 9 days of normal use tho and would probably be tempted to take the (other faults) opportunity to change/upgrade.  What are FV saying about it?
