Where to get Asda mobile top-up voucher?

Tried today in Adsa store but they said their system isn't working at the moment. Apparently they can't even do top-up card top ups either. Girl on customer services seemed to think it might be a temporary problem as she said they have had similar before but started working again after a week or two.

Spoke to Asda Mobile on phone today. Seems that the old 12-digit vouchers are no-longer valid but there are new 16-digit vouchers which are. They supposedly had no idea why my local store couldn't sell these.

Update: Local Asda store still can't sell top-up vouchers, can't even put cash on a top-up card. Spoken to Asda Mobile who now tell me that vouchers are not currently available and it may be three months or more before they are available again!

Looks like Asda doesn't issue vouchers anymore. Went to 2 shops (not Asda) and both had failed transactions when dialing in the request to buy a voucher. Then I went to Asda and the cashier said that the only way to top up now is via online or top up card.

Can use text service to top up if you register a payment card with them first. Probably of most use to those with a "feature" phone.1
