Hi - why, on trustnet, when you compare the LifeStrategy 80% Equity Acc OEIC against the LifeStrategy 80% Equity UCITS ETF the performance is so different? The charts take into account the currency issue, so what stupid thing am I missing?

You can't buy the ETF on the UK stock exchange can you?
Pretty sure the holdings are different from the UK LifeStrategy which probably explains the difference in performance.1 -
If you are using a % increase chart to compare an OEIC priced in UK £ and an ETF priced in US $, I don't think the charts will take into account the currency issue, as one will be the % increase in UK £ and the other will be the % increase in US $.

On trustnet it says the performance is rebased to pounds sterling

To me that's misleading. Should at least have a different name0

Ah the V80A ETF according to https://www.vanguardinvestments.dk/portal/instl/dk/en/product.html#/fundDetail/etf/portId=9496/assetCode=balanced/?overview appears to lack the UK home bias, maybe that's it?0
