    Sure.

You could also say that by placing their smaller sign in the exact same place as the old Council sign, this deliberately or negligently entraps drivers already familiar with the car park, who would have no reason to stop and read that unremarkable sign.

I've sent my defence, took 3 attempts to get an acknowledgement back but finally got there!!!

I sent it to PPS also and I had an automatic reply saying that they do not accept appeals via email and I must use the portal, but then this was an defence, not an appeal.

Thank you everyone for your help and advise so far, without whom I would've felt I had no hope and most likely had given up.

Your defence will be sent to the claimant (or their solicitor) by the CCBC.  Did you send it to the address on the claim form (address for claimant (if different))?

Nowhere on any of their letters do they give a email address. I got their email off the customer page on their website. Seems like they only want to communicate with those using their services. They mention a portal in their letters, but that just seems to be to encourage payment plans.

Hi there. I’m filling out a directors questionnaire that I have received, and in D3 where it asks for witnesses, I was wondering if I put the children down as witnesses as they were in the car at the time? None were over 18 at the time, although one is over 18 now.

Only the 18 year old, if you think it's useful.  Not normally needed.

  • So I've been given a court hearing date of 30th November, but need to put my witness statement in by 14th September. I'm a bit surprised at how soon the witness statements needs to be in as I thought that would be nearer the hearing date?

What happens if I don't get the witness statement in on time? We are both ill in bed with covid, so whatever I do manage to do isn't going to be amazing.

Also do I add my daughters statement within mine or do I have to draft out a whole work sheet for her separately?

Feeling a bit deflated with all this. With all the stress the has caused, I feel like they have won anyway, no matter what happens in court :(

Your Daughter just does a simple one, supporting what you say & confirming it.

Your one can be copied & adapted in hours, from the example WS bundles by @Daiapolon2021 or @aphex007
