Details of the Survey should not be shared outside the Community (Chase's Community T&Cs) and is not a guarantee of an upcoming feature, just a reference to an idea, at this current time.0 -
A joint account, why on earth would anyone want one.
The wife could spend all my money Nooooooooo thanks. 😎1 -

If so add his print to your phone or IPad.
I can log into the wife’s accounts if needed.
Depending on how long you expect this method of access to work, it doesn’t sound future proofed.
Say for whatever reason, you need to replace the phone and you want to stay in the Apple ecosystem.
My impression is that Apple are moving away from buttons and onto purely touch screens. So no fingerprint recognition but only face recognition. So only one person can open a phone?
Or have I misunderstood this approach and the technical features behind it?
OP with my Luddite thinking I would setup an LPA and get it registered with Chase. Assuming they allow LPA’s to be registered on an account.0 -
The Chase app can be accessed just using a 6-digit Passcode (that it should have offered the option to set up when you created the account) to login. Once logged in there’s no extra security to send payments to accounts that you’ve already set up as Payees.Arch0

Phone is face and fingerprint, I only have fingerprint activated. Both of us can use it.
Her IPad is fingerprint and we both can use it, it then uses email and password to log in.

Back to the topic title then...
I asked Chase direct.
They say they have no timeframe to add joint accounts as yet but it's on their list.
If they're wise and make it attractive, I am certain they could steal many, many customers from others.1 -
Well here we are, May 2023 and still no joint accounts...just have to stick with first direct then!0

I note that they also don't offer a cheque book, which if they did my wife wouldn't be able to sign.
Banks offer services, some provide more services than others, some are appropriate for some users, some for many users.
I trust FD's services suit your requirements.
Do FD offer good interest rates?
