Leftover chocolate Easter Eggs? Sorry, this concept does not compute.
If you find yourself with too many, you can always spread out eating eggs, say one per night or if you really find yourself snowed under with chocolate, you can always make brownies or coconut rough.

Left over from what? It's not as if they don't last, (given the chance). It seems silly to melt them down when you've paid a premium for the chocolate to be egg-shaped in the first place.6

We have some bars of dark chocolate, a Sunday treat.
If there are any left at Aldi at a cheaper price per 100g we might stock up on Monday.
Easter eggs are just expensive packaging.

Use the empty shell as a base for cheesecake. Just fill with your favourite “No bake” cheesecake recipe and freeze. Or put cream and fruit on top, maybe add grated chocolate too, chill until tea time. Yummy!
