No it isn't. Let's not discuss that other person.

Well done - another one bites the dust.

As this was an in-person hearing, and it spanned both morning and afternoon, then you should have also been awarded £95 hearing attendance costs.

Thanks Jenni_D.  I tried for attendance costs, as below but, as expected, they were not allowed.

    " . .
    DEFENDANT’S SCHEDULE OF COSTS
    Ordinary Costs

I have been retired for a few years now but, with the current economic position, I need to find employment to give me additional income.  My efforts at searching for and applying for jobs have been severely interrupted by having to deal with this matter.  Consequently, I am likely to find work later than I would otherwise have done, due to this interruption.  I would therefore ask the court to consider that I will have lost income by starting work later than I would have otherwise done."

Thanks again to all for assistance provided.  Its a great forum.

In order to be awarded any loss of earnings the court asks for proof (wage slip) so it was never going to happen in a case of potential earnings.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Thanks Umkomaas.

I took along with me the advert for several of the jobs I'd applied for earlier (but didn't get) - but no great expectations that they would be inspected or accepted ;)
