Just anything in general, I'm just a bit anxious it's been a month with zero contact about the case.

Wasn't sure if that was normal at all :)

You really need to re-read the section in red capitals in the second post of the NEWBIES thread called 'IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

On 28th April you told us...
Just had a letter from the Court arrive too in the post.

Received my defence and a copy has been sent to the claimant, they may contact me directly to attempt to resolve the dispute. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the claimant will inform the court they wish to proceed.

Claimant must contact the court within 28 days to proceed, the only action the claimant can then take will be to apply to a judge for an order lifting the stay.

You have told us that the CCBC sent you a letter saying the Claimant had twenty eight days to consider your Defence.
What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant.
It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.
Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a Directions Questionnaire as promptly as you might like.
Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course?

    Thanks for the replies again.

I've checked my MCOL and there isn't anything on there about them replying, the last update is from the 25/04 where it says they received my defence (all updates posted as below).

Your acknowledgment of service was submitted on 18/04/2022 at 11:18:55

Your defence was received on 25/04/2022

A letter dropped through from the parking people today mentioning they were intending to go to court still along with a copy of a filled in form. I'm still yet to receive anything from the court but I'm sure that will follow suit now this has arrived.

You were expecting that, weren't you?

Item 7 on that checklist in the Template Defence thread says...

Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list are well worth reading again.

So finally had my questionnaire arrive, it says both parties must receive a copy.

Does this have to be a physical copy or can this be done online? It's not very clear.

    Thanks!

But what is clear is the guidance offered in that checklist that I mentioned in the post immediately above yours on this very same thread...
Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list are well worth reading again.
