Paid to stop a cheque but

Hello
I needsome advice
I paid £10 for a cheque to be stopped but 4 days later the cheque was paid out of my account :mad: and now I am overdrawn because of their mistake and they are charging me left right and centre
I reported the error to them and they are investigating it
What can I do about it?if anything.....

Why? You'll find quality wins over quantity .... assuming you want the right answer!;)
Either your Bank has made an error (assuming you got the Stop in place in time) ...... in which case they will have to redeem it. Or ..... you made both an error and wasted £10 .... by putting a Stop on a cheque you had guaranteed with your card?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
