Thanks for the generous sentiment and you are of course spot on, it was a beautiful Tiffany-style lampshade I chanced upon for a pittance.tonygold said:try boot sales. I used to work in lighting and that 'harp convertor' (as it was called), was often used on reproduction tiffany style lights to hold the glass shades on. these type of lamps crop up in boot sales quite often. i've rumaged thru my garage spares but haven't got one otherwise i would have gladly sent it to you.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Is the missing bit still with the seller of the lamp?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Cannot visualise what those flanges do but seems remarkably expensive for what it is.
Could you create your own adapter with a couple of suitable sized nylon washers, one below and one above the lampshade attachment ring then held in place with the threaded collar on lampholder?Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. S.Clarke0 -
The lamp has the top part of the image attached, it's the bottom that's missing. I cannot imagine fashioning one from a nylon washer so will keep looking for something of this order in a chazzer. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Yeah see what you mean anything else will detract from what is obviously going to be a treasured item.
Happy hunting, will be good day when you find one.Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. S.Clarke1 -

I wouldn't know where to start! But I am confident that I shall find what I want at a price I am prepared to pay...eventually!carly said:Do you know anyone with a 3D printer who could perhaps make you one?
Eta: an image of my bargain lampshade, will look so much better lit!

If you had a dimensioned drawing, it is something I could probably knock up in five minutes. It is only a bit of bent brass after all.Rosa_Damascena said:

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
