Parking ticket

Hey, I need some advice I’ve got a parking ticket for leaving the site at a Halfords and fishing tackle car park. There was nowhere to pay to stay (I did look) but as I was going to Halfords after I’d been to the Post office I never thought it would be a problem.
4 days later the parking charge is posted to me, saying I’d been noticed leaving the site, I didn’t have a ticket on my car or anything on the actual day tho?
what is the likelihood of the appeal shall I just pay or dispute it as it’s not Halfords land, and there’s nowhere to pay to park there either, it’s upset me tbh as I always park well normally. Any advice appreciated.

Hello and welcome.
What is the name of the company that has sent you this Parking Charge Notice?
Where exactly did this parking event take place?
As you visited Halfords, why not ask them to cancel this ticket for a bona fide customer?1 -
Hi, thank you, the company is UKCPS Ltd, 1200 Century Way, Thorpe Business Park, Colton, Leeds
The car park is Forest Retail Park in Sutton In Ashfield.I could visit Halfords I guess but I’ve been told someone tried this before and they said it was nothing to do with them and they didn’t have the power to do that1 -
Plan A is always to complain to the landowner/store manager or site managing agent where the alleged event took place. Do not reveal the identity of the driver at any point.
If that fails, read the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES then send the appeal template in blue text you will find there. Send it unaltered, from The Keeper.
If/when it is rejected, read up on what to do next.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1 -
Thank you I’ll look for the newbies section and try to send it asap. It’s such a nightmare I need this like a hole in the head tbh. But it’s got to be dealt with, so thank you0

Leaving the site charges are very difficult for the PPC's to prove. There could be any number of reasons for you to have been where you actually went.
Have they a video of you actually leaving the site ?? Where exactly is the boundary for the site that you have supposedly left, is it clearly marked out ??
Lots of leaving the site cases on the forum, have a search and a read.2 -
And following on from the above post...
Who do they say cannot leave the site?
Surely that can only be the person who allegedly had a contract with the parking company - the driver.
That @Misswoody, is the very good reason that you must not give away the driver's identity.
But @Fruitcake has already told you that.

And you must NOT say to Halfords that the driver may have left the site. Just see if they'll cancel it and if not, then send a written appeal as registered keeper asking UKCPS to show their evidence that the driver left the site.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I’ve just typed in the website as if I was going to pay to ‘view the evidence’ there are no pictures of me leaving site. Just 6 pictures of my car from all angles (like I would forget) and two pictures of the terms and conditions on the site itself. My ex husband is the registered keeper of the car still, yet I tax Mot and insure it. So the letter went to him and as he’s not been here in a while it was opened by him a day after the 14 day cut off so I couldn’t have paid the £60 fee now they want £100 no exceptions. !!!!!!.I’m not paying £100 they can b******s! It’s making me mad now.0

Ok. Advice hasn't changed.
Plan A (complain) then Plan B (appeal asking for proof of the driver leaving the site).
All done as 'annoyed registered kerper'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
