Advice on building a garden studio (terraced house)...

Hi I live in a terraced house in Bristol. I'm tired of working from my bedroom and would love to build a little studio in the garden, but it's not very big, and no access apart from throut the house. I put 120mm Celotex on top of the rafters when I built our extension. There are advantages and disadvantages to this method. Some people stick some on top and inbetween the rafters. Getting the fixings through the insulation into the joists is the tricky bit.
