Would certainly prefer this over the Jordan International Bank / Flagstone product @ 1.9% and its oddities. Let's see who is first to break through that psychological barrier of 2%...

So all those who's Shawbook bonds recently matured into a new account will now be exercising their 14 day cancellation rights and sending Shawbrook a secure message to tell them to put it in the latest new offer....

I wonder what happens if Shawbrook don't see and action the secure message in time, considering the recent delays ?0

Providing secure messaging is an acceptable form of communication to cancel, and they receive the secure message in time, whether they see and action it or not, then under fairness principles they should accept the instruction and backdate the opening date as appropriate.refluxer said:I wonder what happens if Shawbrook don't see and action the secure message in time, considering the recent delays ?

Think I will wait a bit longer till next BOE interest rate decision in May to see if rate goes up again
A lot of sources are pricing in interest rates to hit 2% by end of year due to high inflation
And with Chase easy access paying 1.5% think its worth waiting a while

I will have 2 large pots to reinvest in August and September.
I got 1.5% with atom last year and hope in September beat 2%.
I can hold one in Chase till a good rate appears.0
