Covid Info requirements still in place?

Options
Lakelovers have sent us an email saying they are "required" to have group information for a holiday let we have arranged through them. Is such a requirement still in place? I understand many would not have a problem with this (and if it is indeed a requirement we will provide it ) but we do not give out information as a rule due to how commonly it is misused / sold on etc.

They can have there own requirement if they like. It's does not have to be a government requirement (but they will often pretend it still is  if they think it will go down better).

No info/no holiday if that's what they say.

They haven't said no info/no holiday ........ yet. The disingenuous implication that it is "required" due to regulation doesn't help.

"to allow us to comply with any future regulations, we are now required to collect additional information on the travelling party in regards to the number of households and/or bubbles"

Neither does it help that this is sent from a no-reply mailbox and they don't list an email address to contact/reply so I may simply query this.

Neither does it help that they fire this out AFTER the contractually binding "confirmation of booking", presumably to secure their booking fee from being reimbursed.

Saying they "require" the info to "comply with any future regulations" is vague and unreasonable at this stage in my view. I gave them the party number  during the booking process. If it's so "required" by them they should have gathered that data at that stage so they could review "compliance" then rather than review it once the booking fee is not refundable under the contract.
