I used SuperSurvey to make a few polls for something I needed I agreed to try the free trial, it said they would email me before the trial is up, they never did and now they've taken £212 for a year subscription as I forgot the free trial was up.

I really really can't afford that my children and I won't be able to live, I'm absolutely distraught that is so much money for me  the terms and conditions said they don't give refunds for any reason and I'm absolutely at my wit's end I feel so stressed

I have sent a few emails but no one is getting back to me! I don't know what to do I'm distraught

What can I do, please be kind I'm devastated

Oh gosh, I can totally sympathise as I've been there at least once or twice myself and got caught out with these subscriptions. Bought the t-shirt too! All because I forgot to cancel after the trial ended. Lost money I tried in vain to get back and have even been nearly scammed in the past by those unscrupulous 'you have won a prize' emails when I know I didn't even enter any competitions!

I think the best thing to do going forward is, if not done already, to cancel this subscription and any others you have with immediate effect. That is such a lot of money to lose when you have a family to support.

I have just read their terms and conditions and indeed they do say no refunds will be provided for any reason.

I do generally believe you can end up spending more out than actually gaining back but the whole point is to try and earn a little bit of extra money.

I think you may have to resort as taking it as a very expensive lesson learned, like myself. I have completely stopped doing all these free trial offers for the sake of my bank account and my sanity..

After doing a bit of digging, this website is a privately owned Australian based business operating out of Sydney. A complete nightmare to navigate to find an actual telephone contact number. Unfortunately, they only deal with emails via their contact page.

However, they do have an address so you can write to them directly to explain your situation. Not quite sure what their response rate is writing to them directly. Might be worth a shot though for the cost of an envelope and stamp..

Can you contact your bank, explain the situation and get them to reclaim the money? I have done this in the past when subscriptions for virus protection etc. have been claimed in error or after the trial period ended.

Whilst I sympathise with the OP, the company haven't really done anything wrong.
They offered a free trial, the OP took advantage of this and didn't cancel within the trial period so the company took the agreed subscription.

On what grounds? The OP has received the service they signed up for.

OP what is the subscription for? Is it anything you can sell on to recoup any of the money?
