The CCJ was issued using initials only, not my name.0 -
Get further direction and advice over on the private parking forum where you will find a team who include some are the countrys leading experts .
The PPC,s are unregulated scammers its common knowledge how they behave .
The law is changing as far as they are concerned.
You may not get compensation but you will get truthful and correct direction rather than opinion on the Private parking forum .0 -

The OP will find sympathetic but realistic help and direction in the private parking forum .
So far what have they got here besides essentially tangential help ?.1 -

The parking forum is setup for people to challenge CCJs that were applied to the correct person, once again, this is a person who was wrongly given a CCJ for someone else and they need help dealing with the aftermath, not appealing a CCJ in their own name.

I got a letter (https://ibb.co/C9LXQRF ) from the solicitors who pursued the CCJ saying "we made an attempt to contact the defendant but owing to no contact, had little choice but to issue court proceedings". The reason I didn't open their letter was because the initials were not mine, although the surname was correct, the initials were not, so I thought it was not addressed to me. How can they issue court proceedings using initials?
They've now admitted they wrongfully assigned this CCJ to my name. But this has caused me personal damage as I couldn't take out loans or even do simple things like take out goods on credit.
Is there anything I should do about this?

That letter sounds like the one you were quoting from seven months ago when you started the thread, or is this a new one?
In terms of what you can do, the advice you were previously given was to contact the parking company, with details of quantified losses, did you do that?1 -
If this is related to parking then I'd suggest that this be reposted or moved to the parking board. It sounds like the OP has suffered to some extent here, and there are regulars on that board that would be only too happy to try and find a way to rain down righteous fire and brimstone on the parking company...1
