don't really need to take off the handles but it wouldn't hurt . unscrew the lock at the edge of the door . put key in and turn to 2 oclock and draw the lock out with the key inside . measure or take it to screwfix , for that type of composite door a 35/35 would probably be rightcanaldumidi said:Take off the internal and external handles, and remove the lock cylinder as well.Take the whole lot to a decent locksmith and ask for a replacement.Don't forget to get extras keys cut if needed!

You won't be able to fit a five lever mortise deadlock to a uPVC door with a euro cylinder multipoint locking system! They're for timber doors. Just fit a decent replacement cylinder.Auti said:
Think has to conform to BS3621 five lever mortise deadlock.
I will look at getting a more secure cylinder.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -
Are folk over-complicating this for Bel?Surely many Eurocylinder locks are made to the required spec - EN 1303, TS 007, that sort of stuff, which are equivalent to BS 3621, if that's what's required?Screwfix have a wide selection to choose from. Be sure to match the 'ratio' - ie, how far along the Eurolock shaft the moving lock part is. But this is easy to match up.Or have I misunderstood summat?0
