Smart meter still on old prices (before 1st April)

However, meter hasn't transmitted any data to the DCC since yesterday, so can't do any further investigations on off peak hours at this stage.
I don't know if EDF updating the tariff made the meter stop sending data...The meter doesn't send, it only responds to messages send via the DCC, including any request for data from the supplier. It is possible that update got in the way of the request for data, but hopefully it will get collected on the next cycle, or it may just be a little delayed in processing by EDF and will appear later today.

Data is available in the DCC now.
Tariff change was effective from midnight today.
The kWh difference between R02 yesterday evening and now is indeed the same as the sum of all 30 minute consumption readings between 23:30 and 08:30 this morning.
Therefore, my economy 7 smart meter thinks off peak hours are indeed between 23:30 and 08:30 every day, or 9 hours.
According to the DCC readings (looking at the rates applied), there are no peak periods during the night.0 -

Good that you have the data now though.sebtomato said:The kWh difference between R02 yesterday evening and now is indeed the same as the sum of all 30 minute consumption readings between 23:30 and 08:30 this morning.

I have the feeling it's not an isolated case.
Not many people are going to look at the rates applied per 30 minutes slots and therefore notice the issue. Pretty much impossible to spot otherwise.
I don't use much electricity between 00:30 and 02:30, so makes not real impact or benefits to me.
Anyway, my conclusion on this thread is: while the cost/tariff displayed on the meter/IHD may not have any impact on actual bills, there are other settings stored on the meter that do have some consequences and won't be fixed/corrected on bills...0 -
