Stress - buyer pull out before exchange

I completely sympathise with all of the sentiments but all you can do is be patient and continue to chase and push things through. If you have a line of communication to the buyer then continue to use it and explain how hard you're working to push things through so they can see you're proactive. If you're using an EA make them earn their money and brief them to keep the buyer fully informed and calm
How many weeks are you into the process0 -
9-10 weeks is pretty much on track..enquiries can take a while especially if solicitors are slow.
I am nearly at 6 months of selling (not purchasing) first a cash buyer then a buyer chain free with a mortgage
I think for where you are in the process the time line is fairly good.
All you can do is keep up communication with EA so he can find out what's going on further up the chain as this seems to be where the problem lies0 -
We are about 11 weeks in and our buyer is likely about to pull out because they can't get a mortgage offer, they have an offer to buy ours but they are doing a BTL on their own house to release funds to buy ours and the lender is querying their payslips etc. We have given them until Thursday to sort it out or we are going back on the market.babyblade41 said:9-10 weeks is pretty much on track..enquiries can take a while especially if solicitors are slow.

Rather annoyed to say the least considering how far we are into the process but it is what it is.
