Just cannot understand why the government allow the energy suppliers to charge such high rates to rip off people. This is a kind of commercial crime. The government should do something to stop it!0

Have you contact any of the other suppliers - BG, Eon etc ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

The government should do something to stop it!The OP is on a deemed tariff, better rates are available under contract.This is a business deal, the OP can get better prices with a bit of effort, why would you expect the government to get involved?
