ebay witholding funding over identity issue

this may be of interest to you
been selling vintage items on ebay approx 18 months no issues with any buyers
payments were made to a business paypal account and in jan 2021 was moved
to managed payments and a business bank account setup, this account was authorised and payments made for 6 months to this account and in aug 2021  payments were put on hold as ebay claimed this bank account was not suitable.
further personal information was requested by them so bank statements and drivers  licence as well as my personal bank account details were provided to enable  payments.
after waiting a  further 10 days my selling account  was suspended and no reason given after asking why other than am a risk to ebay and its members.
i was then told to wait  60 days to allow for customer returns or chargebacks
after  60 days  i contacted ebay requesting payment but was  told they will not be making any payments as they cant verify my bank account and dont need too.

they are currently withholding  £856 which after 5months is still showing in account and are not willing to offer any help to resolve despite offering further info

i have sent a recorded letter to the uk ebay complaints dept but my reply was a default email stating they are keeping funding under uk law but not stated what law that is? dispite requesting.

i  am a small business which i setup during the covid period as my previous job the store closed so became unemployed without ferlow gov support.
i would be most grateful if you could offer any advice or help with my issue
