Problems with Pension Point (new LPPA pensions portal)

Has anyone else experienced problems accessing their pension information on the new LPPA pensions portal? Firstly, they didn’t advise of the switch and secondly only my payslips from Jan 2022 onwards are showing.  It also doesn't detail my pension entitlement or show what the increased pension will be from April. I was advised several weeks ago that data was still being transferred over from their old system but emails are not being replied to either and it is so frustrating.

I would wait for it to settle down but I need to know what my pension will be from April 2022 in order to apply for sons student loan. Has anyone had any luck getting info they need from LLPA? Have to say previously they have been good at responding but suspect this new portal is giving them some headaches. Not surprising given the number of pension schemes they support, I’m LPFA.

Annual pension statements aren't normally updated until later in the year. Whatever the scheme. There's adminstration tasks to be completed first. At the moment they'll no doubt be busy with current pensioners.

Cheers. I am already in receipt of the pension (dependents pension).  I have my USS annual increase letter for 2022, it was sent earlier this week so it’s not as though pension companies don't know what the annual increase will be! Don't need the P60 (although will further in the application process) right now I just need the new figure for 2022.

I will have to try and call.

Surely you can work it out for yourself. Simply apply the % to what you were paid last tax year.
  • You could check your Personal Tax Account on gov.uk.

Employers and pension payers operating PAYE have to submit the details to HMRC on or before a payment is made so you may already be able to see the first payment in the 2022:23 tax year.

Lancashire county council LPPA help desk is impossible to get any queries answered or resolved.  The messaging system does not always work..
I have not received my pension increase from April 2023 and every time I ring I get fobbed off, can't get any answers.  Although one operator last week told me 1000s of pensioners haven't received the increase because if a "problem" at county hall ... I'm still waiting for contact back to fund out what why when etc..... One operator even hung up when I asked who the manager was..... Awful service

Yes I have logged on, sent messages via my online account, I have spoken with helpdesk, both several times, I have asked to speak to managers, I have asked for an appointment for face to face at county hall.  All are very evasive and will not answer my queries despite saying they will .... It feels like something is being covered up

Do you know other pensioners in the scheme?

If so, are they suffering in the same way?

    Pension increases for April 2023

The latest pension increase has been confirmed as 10.1% based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for September 2022. The pension increase will be applied from 10 April 2023.

As I asked above, are you acquainted with other pensioners of the scheme? Are they having similar difficulties?
