No consolation to you really but I'm sure I speak for everyone on here when I say how appalling this is. Truly sorry this has happened to you.
  • Not offered I was told enforcement was upon me if I did not pay by 5pm today.😡

So sad.  So sorry to hear this.

You could have beaten all of them if you received the PCNs, because they were 100% beatable at appeal.  Would have been easy.  Also defendable in court if you'd responded to the court claim but I guess you knew nothing about it?

Really upsetting for you but they didn't take you to the High court.  They took you to the County court and then, by you not defending (for whatever reason) it meant they could apply for a HC Writ due to the amount.

You could try a set aside, if the letters and the claim was sent to a wrong or old address.  Was it?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I had a final warning notice saying they would take me to court that's all, no confirmation it went to court or paperwork to say it had gone to county court and a CCJ had been passed on me.
Next I knew was a Enforcement notice saying if I did not pay £1429 before 5pm on 11/11/2022 they would be sending bailiffs to my home address, which they don't know it as I moved 12 months ago.
It's Ruthless that I had a medical condition at the time I collected these 5 invoices which I explained, and have since e.mailed the county court, but nobody acknowledged this or replied to me at all.
DCBL just wanted paying out .
  • DCBL don't know my new address so most of the paperwork if any had been going to my old address I feel.
My bank released the £1429 earlier today and DCBL offered no compassion as am unemployed or any payment method for me.

Did you read and understand what I advised you could do to get this reversed?
